Results of the Second Call for the Sustainable North Partnership Research Program

Institut nordique du Québec (INQ) and Sentinel North (SN) announce funding for five additional projects under its Building a Sustainable North Partnership Research Program. A total of $1.5 million was awarded in this second call for proposals for inter-institutional and multidisciplinary projects that will generate new knowledge about the North and the Arctic, with a view to the sustainable development of Northern Quebec and the well-being of the communities that inhabit this territory.

COMPLEX NETWORKS WINTER WORKSHOP 2020

The Complex Networks Winter Workshop (CNWW) is a 2-week international school that offers an extraordinary opportunity for participants to engage in rigorous transdisciplinary complexity science research alongside some of the top researchers in the field of networks. The CNWW is designed for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, and professionals.

Major call for proposals 2020-2023

For this second major call for proposals, Sentinel North is seeking transdisciplinary teams that will propose transformative approaches that encourage the convergence of expertise, including the development and deployment of new technologies and mathematical tools (modeling, complex systems), in order to address the research axes and challenges of its conceptual research framework. The call is open to all Université Laval researchers, whether or not they are already funded by Sentinel North .
