No COVID-19 in snow geese, concludes Université Laval study
A study conducted by Université Laval researchers from three Sentinel North Research Chairs concludes that snow geese are not carriers of the virus responsible for COVID-19 and that hunting and eating these birds is safe.

Major call for proposals 2020-2023
For this second major call for proposals, Sentinel North is seeking transdisciplinary teams that will propose transformative approaches that encourage the convergence of expertise, including the development and deployment of new technologies and mathematical tools (modeling, complex systems), in order to address the research axes and challenges of its conceptual research framework. The call is open to all Université Laval researchers, whether or not they are already funded by Sentinel North .

2021 Scientific Meeting
The 2021 Sentinel North Scientific Meeting took place from November 2 to 4 and was a great success thanks to the exceptional quality of all presentations and the inspiring participation of the attendees.

Open access ensures free online access to publicly funded research publications, increasing the use, application and impact of research results.
Projects funded by Sentinel North must comply with the requirements of the federal granting agencies and Université Laval’s institutional policy on open access to publications of research results.
